How the Batch 01 pre-order works

Draft dated 8 October 2026.

A clothing pre-order is a payment now for a garment that has not been made yet. That sentence raises fair questions. This note answers them in the order they happen on this site.

Choosing a style

Batch 01 has four checkout styles: the Men's Air Weave Tee at $44, the Men's Boxer Shorts at $30 or three for $81, the Women's Boy Short at $32, and the Drawstring Short at $64. On a style page you set a quantity from 1 to 20 and add it to the reservation. The reservation is saved in this browser. Adding a style does not charge a card by itself.

Three styles carry a waitlist price: the Hemp Work Pant at $108, the Men's Hemp Hoodie at $108, and the Men's Structured Hemp Jogger at $128. The waitlist button saves a note in the browser. It adds no cart line, it charges nothing, and it sends nothing to Stripe.

Paying on Stripe

On the checkout page, Pay with Stripe opens Stripe Checkout. The card number is entered on Stripe, not on this site. This page never sees it.

The server prices the cart from the Batch 01 list, so a changed price in the browser is ignored. A paid session is a pre-order, not a shipment: you have paid for a garment to be made, not for one sitting on a shelf.

Shipping is free when the checkout reservation reaches $88. Waitlist lines do not count toward that total. A shipping rate below $88 is not set in this draft.

If a style misses its factory minimum

Each style needs a minimum number of pieces before the factory runs it. If a style does not reach that minimum, the draft policy is a full refund of what was paid for that style, issued from the Stripe dashboard. That is draft policy, not legal advice.

What we will not promise

No timeline promises we cannot keep. The factory schedule is not ours, and a pre-order page that prints a confident month is usually printing a hope. When there is a real date, we will write it. When something else becomes true, such as a confirmed fiber percentage or approved photos, the notes will say so.

The full draft terms are on the policy page, and every style with its price and offer type is on the shop page.
